Dandified Mario lives and breathes the spirit of classic British subcultures – from the sharp-dressed Hard Mods to the raw energy of the Rude Boys and Punks – all rooted in the driving force of Rhythm & Blues.

“It’s all about the beat, the attitude and the love for timeless dance music,” he says. “My sets are steeped in R’n’B – from the Blues-roots of the 50s to 60s Soul and Ska. And when the night calls for it, I’ll take it up a notch with some good old Garage- and Punk-Rock – because that’s part of the same spirit: real, loud and full of life.”

Spinning nothing but vinyl singles, he fuses the familiar with the rare and obscure – keeping dancefloors moving, hearts beating and spirits high wherever he plays.
